Finger Paints Military Green

Last week I called my local Sally Beauty Supply asking them if they have the Finger Paints Special Effects Collection. They said they wouldn't even get it in but to call another store because it is a Nail Promo store. I called them and they said they should have them on Thursday. I went in on Friday but they didn't have them. I'm now on a No Buy so I doubt I will get the Special Effects Collection. :sad face:

Shipping Woes

If you read my review of Bootie Babe polishes that I did here. You will have noticed that I said I purchased the entire set and I did. I bought them from Bootie Babe off of eBay on the 8th of December. About a week later I bought a set for Jenn for Christmas. That was on the 17th.

Zoya Feel Collection Swatches

Today I have the Zoya Feel Collection to show you. A couple of these just did not want to capture well. The white light may appear off in the pictures but I was trying to get the polish color as close to real life as I could. Also, please try to look past the issue with my middle fingernail. It peeled and I didn't want to cut it down to a nubbin, although looking at the pictures I probably should have.

Spearmint Candy Canes

While reading the blogs I follow I came across some candy cane finger nails from Finger Painted. I saw them and thought to myself I might be able to do them. The only issue is that I don't like peppermint candy canes. I like spearmint ones, not that I can find them anymore. :(
Mine didn't come out as well as hers but I still like them.

Shake Your Bootie!

Okay, I know you aren't supposed to shake polish but it is a catchy title. lol!

I have 3 Bootie Babe polishes today. They are Brink of Pink, Purp Slurp, and Hella Baloo.

Let's Make A Change

Today I am going to show you Del Sol color changing polish. It changes in the sun and then back when you are inside. I was a little skeptical about how well these would work, but I was pleasantly surprised. My husband even mentioned how cool they were and for him to say anything about my polish is a miracle in itself.

I thought I would start a post and when I thought of things I love I would just add it. When I started going though I thought of 10 more. I don't know why I had such a hard time with the first post. Even if I think of more I won't make another Things I Love post until next Wednesday. 

100 things I love - Part 1

My friend Jenn over at I'm Still Thinking is doing this and asked that anyone that reads her blog do it also. She's on week 2 over there, so I'm a little behind. I'm not going to do 100 things at one time. I am going to do 10 things a week for 10 weeks, unless I get motivated and do more. lol! 

The only one that will be in any kind of order is the first one. Everything after that will be random, whatever I think of. Here we go!

Emerald City Space Lift

This is Revlon's Emerald City from their Matte Suede collection. It has the basic Revlon brush, nothing special, but nothing too bad either. This took 2 coats on most nails, 3 on a couple to cover thin spots. It is a pretty matte green with just a touch of shimmer in it.

Just What The Doctor Ordered (lots of pictures)

Today I have the Dr.'s Remedy Jolly & Joy collection. I'm sure you have seen these around but I always like seeing polish on different nails and skin tones so I'm going to show you too. This collection consists of 5 polishes.

Frankens by Beanie

Is it just me or does that title kind of make you want hot dogs and pork and beans? lol!

Beanie from My Blue Laquer started selling frankens on her blog. I ordered 3 of them. I got Purple Nerple, Blue Sangwich, and Space Lift.  Today I am going to show you Purple Nerple and Blue Sangwich.

My thumb has 3 coats of Purple Nerple and my middle and pinky finger have 2 coats of it. As you can see it would be a great layering polish. It is a little sheer on it's own, but a lot of fun. It has purple micro glitter and holo hex glitter. 

My pointer finger has 3 coats of Blue Sangwich and my ring finger has 2. This can definitely be worn on it's own with 3 coats, but would look great layered over a blue with only two coats. This one has multi colored hex glitter and blue micro glitter. 

I was really impressed with how evenly these both applied. I can't wait to try the Space Lift that I also got. Look for that in an upcoming post. You can check out Beanies Frankens. She has a few others besides these for sale also. I am wanting to get the Hot Cocoa one next. 

Swatched My Minis

I love my mini bottles of polish. I think they are so cute. I have them in a small rubbermaid type container. I figured I would swatch them that way I knew what was in the container without having to look at them. I actually had to take the polish off of one of the old swatch wheels to finish them since I only had one new one left. The Wet N Wild ones don't have names so I just did the best I could in describing them. Also there was one OPI that I couldn't read what it was..so if you can figure it out can you please let me know? Thanks!
